You've got to want it more than you are afraid of it not happening.
Each and every day, day, we have opportunities to grow, change, and rise to the challenge in life. What could look like another day is really a chance to do something superb. True, almost all of the days we have may begin as ordinary, but our plans that we have for ourselves, if implemented, can actually turn something average into something, well, extraordinary. It takes effort. A lot of effort. Everything in the world is going to be pushing you to just stay the same. Because this is where the majority of us are. We are living in the middle. Not in the sense of classes etc, but in the sense of what we are doing with ourselves. When we start adventuring towards the edge, that is truly when things become exciting. However , simultaneously, that's when the fear of the future becomes larger and larger. You have got to determine for yourself if you are O.K living in a world of heavy uncertainty and yet be committed to total belief in what you're doing. Trust me, it's difficult.
Call it the universe, call it God, call it whatever it is you want to call it, but the fact still is the same. You are here for a sound reason and you have talents that must be drilled into skills. What ends up going down though is that we worry too much about what other people think and we begin to worry that what we do isn't going to actually happen due to one reason or another.
Much of the time, brilliant ideas die with the people who they live in. People take their dreams to the grave and never see them through because they are honestly just too scared. Fear is the primary killer of dreams. This is going to be fear of failing, fear of viewpoints, fear of ridicule...nevertheless, fear drives one to shrink in the possibility they have.
It'd be stupid for me to claim to not be terrified. Anyone that honestly says that they don't get scared should really consult a doctor. It is what you do after being afraid that counts. Here's where true courage comes in. Real courage is that mad 20 seconds after being deathly afraid where magic happens. It's fine to be fearful, but like I have asserted before, you have to desire it more than you are alarmed of it. You have to decide that it's what you want and then be white-hot and dedicated to it. Without that decision, you'll squander backwards and forwards for perpetuity. Decide.
Be driven by everything and everybody around you letting you know...no. Make that your fuel. Be careful not to let it bring you down. Let it motivate you to keep going. The people that make the most important difference in this world are the ones who do not let the outside world effect their souls belief in their dreams. Shield your dreams with dragons, guards, and trolls. Do whatever you can to keep them safe and harbor that belief. You'd be surprised how easy it is to let a voice or an opinion dig its way into your cave and then slowly burn everything in the house. Only let people and words that continue your communicable belief in your purpose enter into your heart.
