Encouragement: The Dose Of Support Our World Really Needs

By Evan Sanders

It'll take you only a couple seconds to jump online and find spewing negativity. The news, the posts we see, the comments we read. It's all there. The web has become an acceptable turf for those who wish to hide behind a keyboard and write whatever they need to about anyone. They can tear you apart, spread filth, and in many cases take things to a completely new degree. A degree that only promotes hate.

Hate breeds more hate.

If you've ever felt it deep inside, you know exactly what I really am talking about. When you house hate in your heart, you start hating other things also. While the web is only one out of many techniques folks can deliver hate with, it does serve as a pretty clear example showing how things are going in our world today. We have made a system in which hate has the ultimate protection. Having the ability to hide behind a user name which virtually guarantees that the comments themselves will never see the forces of liability for its actions.

In light of this nearly overpowering raging river of hate, we need to press on.

Why?

Because we should endorse what we truly love rather than lashing out at what we hate.

I am not delusional about the world. I'm really not that slightly off guy on the news who is understood in his neighborhood for being Mr. Contented literally 24/7. That type of unbalanced one-way lifestyle isn't healthy for you. I have my horrible days. I have days where I find myself in a conflict between love and hate, acceptance and closing down, and these are days when I am going to fight. These are days when I'm reminded of what I have a belief in. Irrespective of how hard it could be.

The dose the world wants in a continuing drip, is encouragement and support.

Many people need to be encouraged for what they are doing, for failing and trying again, for giving a great effort and moving forward. It's not about removing hate from the world, It's truly about balancing it out with acts of love. The world, similar to ourselves, can get out of alignment and thrown off once in a while. People will begin to see the worst of everything because honestly, that is what we are shown. We are constantly the subject of the bad stuff. Flick on the television. Automobile crashes, 10 dead in class shooting, riots, disruption in countries all around the globe, massive coverups, violations of privacy, oil spills and nuclear meltdowns. With all this, not surprising we have got a gloomy view of what is occurring.

I think that a steady drip of love and motivation can change lives. It changed mine, so why can't it change others?

The ripple effect you can have on the world is miles beyond your understanding. Hell, I don't even know. But I have deep faith that it is occuring. You can turn someones day around in a moment.

Motivate those around you. You might not agree with the exact way in how they are doing it, but don't step on them for it. Others need to learn their way. Sometimes we have got the best and most honest intentions when trying to help others, but in the final analysis, almost everyone has their own path to stroll. Walk with them, don't try to take the rug out from under them.

Support matters.
