Discovering The Apostle Paul Teachings And Letters

By George Baker

To understand the early concepts of Christianity, one must first understand the apostles. More specifically, one must be able to comprehend The Apostle Paul Teachings and writings. For, the apostle was the first to transition from the Jewish faith to that of a Christian one.

The apostle did not start out as a Christian. Paul was actually born into the Jewish faith and became a Pharisee. It was only after a mystical vision of Christ, having risen from the dead that the Jewish Pharisee became to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. A belief which many believe to be the first transformation of a Jew into a Christian and the beginning aspects of the Christian faith.

For those who enjoy film and television, there are also a few different series related to the apostle. In most cases, these come in sets with a number of different volumes related to different apostles and areas of the Cristian faith. Although, there are some which compare and contrast Judaism and Christianity though a look at Paul and his early letters to the Church.

When it comes to the Bible which many believe to be the so-called Word of God, there are several books which hold these teachings. Most likely, these teachings were based on the few, and often difficult to read letters that were believed to be those written by Paul to the early Church. While this is the case, the letters alone do not prove the theory in a living Christ. Although, the letters do suggest that the apostle lived first as a Jew, then after seeing a vision of Christ, converted to Christianity.

There are several books of the Bible related to these letters which religious scholars consider to be part and parcel to the these teachings. These include, First Thessalonians, Galatians, First Corinthians, Philippians, Philemon, Second Corinthians, and Romans. While this is the case, it should be noted that while discussed, none show actual proof of Jesus as a mortal man before, after or during what is believed to be his ascension, crucifixion, and resurrection.

While the letters of Paul appear to share a great deal of information on the sightings of a living Christ, many believe this to have simply been a dream. Whereas, others, most often the most devout of believers take the sighting to be a real image of the risen Christ and one which created the Christian faith.

For, when it comes to discovering the truth, the only real truth is that the concept of a higher power or powers is a great mystery. Whether that mystery be accepted on faith or denounced as nonsense. Throughout history, missionaries and others have attempted to share the story of Christ with others as a means toward salvation.

For those subscribing to the Christian faith, this is often one related to Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Most beliefs in this regard are based on these early teachings of Paul that Jesus was born, died and rose again as proved by the visions and letters of the apostle. Whereas, the Holy Spirit is that which washes over and cleanses one of earthly sins once an individual becomes a believer and follows these and other related teachings.
