His classmates have been quite vocal in declaring their love and adoration of his attention to detail. He became an excellent hair stylist, but as fate would have it, he later moved on to bigger and better things.
Upon leaving, the community college, Mr. Karlton proceeded to the John Jay College based in New York City. Here, he majored in Forensic studies. His studies focused on Psychology in particular. After the year-long course, he came out better equipped on how to deal with various social issues affecting the youth of his city. Eventually, he would emerge as a highly-sought-out after counselor and guidance expert capable of helping troubled youth.
Soon after that, he got employed at the Graham Windham Institute as a night counselor. His primary duty was the welfare of teenagers residing in that particular institution. The establishment was located in the Bronx area of New York. It was up to Mr. Daniel to ensure that the kids at the school adhered to protocols in place. To do so, he would perform a head count periodically per given night.
While still at the corrective institute, Mr. Karlton oversaw the hygiene of the youth therein. His roles did not stop with him making sure they made their beds, washed their clothes and brushed their teeth. No, on the stark contrary, it extended to making breakfast to the pupils as well. Perhaps, the most significant aspect of this job was to guide and counsel the students on a variety of issues.
Daniel was also the night manager at the New York Law School in the nineties. He was in charge of the security of this prestigious learning institution for close to two years. At the law school, his docket was expected to handle the intricate details of government workers and other notable dignitaries using the premises, especially the library. He also conducted interviews with prospective employees. Routine training of the staff at the campus was also his role.
He later moved to New York to take up a new position as the General Manager of Regency Inc. This job had Mr. Karlton take charge of the entire inventory accounts of the firm. He focused on establishing and maintain professional and productive relationships with the various vendors and suppliers who worked in collaboration with the company.
Outside the office environment, Daniel is also an acclaimed author. Since he was young, he has always been drawn to and fascinated by poetry. To that effect, Daniel has written well over twenty awe-inspiring poems to his name. He often enters into International poetry contests.
