Close Encounters UFOS Scales By Hynek

By Douglas Anderson

When it comes to unidentified flying objects, most believers have seen at least something unknown in the day or night sky. While many just go on with life curious as to what may have been in the sky, others want to know more about Close Encounters UFOS. Whether through ongoing research, or setting up a satellite like in the movie Contact, it is clear that interest in this aspect of the paranormal has only grown over time.

When it comes to the terminology associated with this aspect of the paranormal, objects flying at a distance of 500 feet are often considered discs of daylight, radar visuals or nocturnal lights. The distance eliminates the chance that the sighting was a commercial aircraft or other known objects. When it comes to classification, these sightings are often considered confidential or top secret by researchers and scientists.

While still classified as an aspect of the paranormal, research and science related to UFOs and alien life is also at an all time high. At the same time, there still remains skepticism among researchers and scientists. One reason this is the case, is because most often sightings are logged as being nothing more than discs of daylight, radar visuals or nocturnal lights without further research.

With regards to Hynek, the scientist generated a six encounter scale map which could be used in identifying different types of UFOs and encounters. The scale is based on different locations and actions of the objects. While not an actor, the scientist also made a cameo in the film.

Known as a scientist, Hynek created a six encounter mapping device which could be used in identifying different types of UFOS and alien behaviors. Based on different actions, movements and locations, others became interested in finding out whether these vessels were only a part of science fiction, or if there truly were visitors from outer space.

In the first level, ground radar, such as that seen in the movie Contact and a UFO confirm a presence on a radar screen. It should be noted that since early on in research, radar has never been considered a reputable method of confirmation. For, radar propagation often shows a number of blips which can represent a number of different elements floating or flying through space.

As shown in the movie, Close Encounters of The Third Kind, the third level includes some type of animated being such as robots or humanoids whom seem to be occupants or pilots of a UFO. While the fourth level represents evidence of an abduction of a human by a UFO or occupants. While not referenced, face to face meetings with species from another planet would most likely be represented at this level.

In levels 5 through 7 of Hynek's scale, occupants or a UFO have shared voluntary direct communication with one another. Whereas, at level 6, the death of a human or animal has occurred either due to a failed experiment, abduction or sexual encounter. Whereas, in level 7, a hybrid of alien and human occur for the first time. Whether created by artificial intelligence, or sexual interaction, many believe it will be interesting to see what the future holds with regards to reproduction once the hybrid is joined with a member of the original alien or human species.
