It is what influences you into doing an activity and keeps you going to the very logical end of the activity.
A Plan on the other hand is a course of action one intends to take over a period of time to achieve a desired goal. Planning is done with some desired objectives in mind and it serves as a constant reminder to individuals, what they should achieve as they go about their daily activities.
True warriors plan. But where is the motivation drawn from? A number of motivators exist and they include; the contentment and happiness derived from the activity. Having awareness of such benefits and the ability of an individual to take control of his life and schedule, true warriors will always plan.
Even athletes know of this fact and as such plan meticulously awaiting the main competition. Look at Mo Farah, a world and Olympics champion. He sets out to train in Kenya due to its high altitude months before the Olympics and other world events. The training he underwent and the planning he undertook having no doubt contributing to his performance.
As warriors then, our activities should be in such a manner that there is always a plan in them. That we are forever moving and working to a desired goal. Our drive should be the completion of these goals as well as the improved performance our plan promises should we implement it. In so doing, we shall have become both true warriors and champions as well living happier more fruitful lives as a result.
Communication is also important to warriors as they plan. By sharing your plans with those close to you, and those the plan shall affect, you drive yourself to ensure you actualize the plan as they will be expecting you to do so. By letting this close circle of friends know of your plans, you are also showing them you love them enough to take them into account while planning. This circle of friends varies and it is up to you to determine who it shall comprise of but generally it shall include your spouse, business partner team mate etc.
As you plan also, do have proper knowledge of your objectives. This will give you enough stimuli to keep tracking your activities and actions over time. This to ensure that they remain aligned to your plan. With this constant review, it will be hard for your goals not to be met. With all this in mind, an intelligent plan is bound to be the result and with it the spirit to plan.
Emotions also play a very key role in moving us into planning. Fear, expectations, joy, sadness etc. Will all come to play in inclining us to plan. Picture your future, what do you expect from it? What more do you think you can achieve should you plan and toil for it? There is a lot of expectation there right? Now, picture what will happen if you do not push yourself and stick to you plan. Not good huh? Then let us plan.
